I have memories of sitting down in the wintertime and enjoying a hearty, warm soup. It’s a really wholesome dish.

I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite vegan soup recipes for you to enjoy. It contains soup recipes that cater to vegan, gluten-free, nut-free and oil-free diets.

I know that many people reading this will be eager to find recipes they can follow which use up cans in their pantries and frozen veg in their freezers.

This recipe is super simple and provides a fiery, flavorsome meal. I love the fact that it’s so easy to eat – the beans are soft and tender and the tomatoes are smooth. It’s also a great way to use some of your pantry supplies.

Sweet Potato and Kale Soup

Sweet potato kale soup is a super healthy addition to the list. With chickpeas and extra vegetables, it provides a straightforward solution to anyone looking for a hearty meal.

This recipe is great because it provides a flavorsome vegan meal packed with protein and goodness. With a pinch of oil, vegan kimchi and tofu, this meal is a fantastic protein source.

I also couldn’t believe that this recipe also takes around ten minutes of prep time and twenty minutes of cooking time!

Butternut Squash and Apple Soup

Simplicity is key sometimes with soup recipes and the above recipe definitely delivers on that aspect. It only uses eight ingredients! After you’ve spent time preparing these, the dish is super easy to cook. It could be a great one to teach your children how to cook with.

I love the creamy texture of the butternut squash and the sweet, tart flavor of the apples in this dish. It’s great!

Mediterranean Chickpea Soup

This is a great recipe to end this list on, as it provides a perfect way to use tinned goods in your pantry. Use chickpea tins or other pulses, and spinach from the freezer! It works out to be a really tasty and healthy dish. Oh, and you can prepare and cook it all in 30 minutes. What’s not to love?
